Lisa Thoreson is a registered Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in addiction and mental health. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Calgary and earned her Master’s in Social Work in 2013. Throughout her career, Lisa has worked with adults, teens, families, and groups, helping them navigate challenges with a compassionate, client-centered approach.
Lisa is committed to providing non-judgmental, strength-based support, working collaboratively with clients to identify their goals and develop strategies for meaningful change. She takes a direct yet empathetic approach, fostering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can explore their challenges and build resilience.
A lifelong Calgarian, Lisa finds joy in spending time in the mountains, exploring farmers' markets, and traveling.
